Short answer: pick OLED for dark rooms, movies and wide viewing angles; pick QLED or Mini-LED for a bright, sunny living room. Check the warranty on OLED and avoid leaving a static image on screen for hours.

OLED has the deepest blacks and wide viewing angles, which suits dark rooms and movies. QLED is usually brighter, which suits sunny rooms. Neither is better in every room.
OLED panels can show image retention if a static image, such as a channel logo or game HUD, is displayed for very long periods. Modern sets have protections, but check the warranty terms and vary what you watch.
No. QLED is an LED-backlit LCD screen with a quantum-dot layer. OLED pixels make their own light, so there is no backlight.
Mini-LED is a QLED-style screen with a more finely controlled backlight, which improves contrast and brightness compared with a standard LED.
Both can be good. Look for 120 Hz support and HDMI 2.1 ports, and check input lag figures on the spec sheet.
